Late September REVR update: CNC, workshop and award.

Sorry for the delayed update everyone. We are incredibly grateful for all the donations and support, it means alot and makes a huge difference in our prototyping efforts. In the last update we progressed on our workshop and V3 motors. Since then we have done quite a bit as we ramp up our work to get a system on the road. We are also actively engaging various workshops and competitions. Some more info below as well as some I cant share yet!

All parts of V3 have now arrived

All the parts needed to assemble 2x V3 systems have arrived. Last big box to arrive was all of our CNC components including the ones above. They are looking very slick fresh off the mills. Many of these parts are machined from 7075 aluminium for greater strength/weight. Everything else, coils, magnets, cores, carbon fiber has all arrived and now we can begin assembling and testing!

NewLab Super Charge Australia workshop

We have begun a workshop with SuperCharge Australia to build our connections and fine tune the REVR pitch. We are working alongside Jaunt, Evans Electric, EPCA and all the hard working people helping to electrify transport in Australia with retrofits!

REVR won Gold!

We won the Good Design Awards Gold NextGen award!

"The Rapid Electric Vehicle Retrofit (REVR) provides a cost-effective and time-efficient method for converting internal combustion engine vehicles into hybrid electric vehicles. Designed for commuters facing rising fuel and maintenance costs, REVR offers a practical pathway to reduced emissions.

The Jury were impressed by REVR’s pragmatic approach and the engineering depth involved in addressing the transition to electric vehicles. The project is praised for its innovative middle-ground solution, reflecting forward-thinking and making sustainable practices more accessible. The designer is to be commended for his engineering achievements, with the project serving as a compelling example of how simple yet practical solutions can drive significant environmental benefits."

This award will mean more publicity and investmentent to further accelerate our progress towards commercial REVR!

More updates incoming!
