Tena koe - For me, August in Hamilton means Hamilton Book Month.

This week I've again been inspired by the wonder and power of language.

One highlight was hearing these stunning poets share some of their words at the book launch for Tracey Slaughters new book of poetry: 'The Girls in the Red House are Singing.'

I've enjoyed two events so far this month and will be at the Authors Showcase on Saturday 31 August, 9:30 - 11:30 am Events Room 1, Wintec, Tristram St. It's a free event.
