In response to recent federal decisions, Monarch PSG has launched a dedicated Resources page on our website. This new section will feature archived government resources and data provided by our partner organizations and allies. Please review our current list below—we’ll be updating and expanding it over time.

  • The U.S. Climate Vulnerability Index: Pulling in 184 sets of data to rank more than 70,000 U.S. Census tracts, the U.S. Climate Vulnerability Index helps you see which communities face the greatest challenges from the impacts of a changing climate. This tool shows what is driving the challenges, so policymakers and communities themselves can take action to build climate resilience where it is needed most. Use this tool so you can:

  • Understand the drivers of vulnerability in your community

  • See how communities compare risks across the U.S.

  • Learn more about the tool and its indicators

  • EDGI (Environmental Data & Governance Initiative) has been working to make the federal screening tools available online. EDGI is a research collaborative and network of diverse professionals promoting evidence-based policy-making and public interest science that advances the Environmental Right to Know (ERTK). EDGI was formed in November 2016 to document and analyze changes to vulnerable federal environmental data and governance practices under the Trump administration. EDGI has grown into the preeminent watchdog tracking and assessing modifications to federal environmental information resources and their accessibility; a national leader in highlighting Trump’s impacts on environmental, data, and information policies and practices; and the forerunner in developing a new field of inquiry and critique: environmental data justice.

  • You can check to see if a website has been captured by the Internet Archive by going to web.archive.org and typing or pasting the URL in the search bar.

  • The End of Term Archive has archived more than 1 million federal webpages and has snapshots publicly available. https://eotarchive.org/data/

    • Scroll to the Collection Search section, select “End Of Term (US Gov 2024)” from the menu, and type in your query.

  • Harvard Federal Environmental Justice Tracker: If you’re looking for federal resources from the Biden administration on environmental justice, Harvard’s Environmental and Energy Law Programs’ environmental justice tracker is now searchable and includes permalinks (permanent URLs) for critical reports from CEQ, OMB, and other White House Offices.

  • For data-heavy mapping tools like EJScreen, CJEST, FEMA’s National Risk Index, and others, colleagues at Harvard’s Salata Institute have been uploading the underlying data files to the Dataverse for public download. When you go to their website, put in “EJ Tools”
