Ready, Set, School!
Service Description
Our Ready, Set, School! workshop is specifically designed for children who have completed 4-year old kindergarten and are about to start their school journey. What we do: * Routine familiarity to understand school routines and transitions * Social skills in teamwork, turn-taking and building friendships * Promote independence, particularly with self-help and organisation skills * Problem-solving skills to encourage resilience and critical thinking * Building listening skills through following directions and engaging in activities * Reinforce basic literacy and numeracy skills * Maximum 8 children per class
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to make a Ready, Set, School! session, it is your responsibility to notify Ladybug Learning of your intended absence via email at hello@ladybuglearning.com.au by 9pm the evening prior to your enrolled session. Failure to notify us in time will result in losing your session spot, as this policy ensures fairness and allows other students the opportunity to book into that session. If not notified by 9pm the evening prior, the full fee for the session will be charged, and no makeup sessions will be available. Cancellations made by 9pm the evening prior will provide you the chance to attend a makeup session, while Ready, Set, School! is running. Every effort will be made to book a makeup session for your child. For a Ready, Set, School! makeup session, it must be within the weeks of the Ready, Set, School! sessions. If this is not possible, full fee for the Ready, Set, School! session(s) missed will be charged. To maximise the benefits of their sessions, please ensure your child is prepared and ready to start on time, as missed time cannot be made up. Ladybug Learning will strive to run all scheduled sessions but reserves the right to cancel if necessary. If a session is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified via phone or email. In such cases, an alternative makeup class will be offered; if not possible, a credit or full refund will be issued. Payment of Ready, Set, School! fees is required in advance of attendance. If your child does not attend without notification, you will still be responsible for the fees, as this holds their place in the class and prevents us from offering it to another family. Ladybug Learning reserves the right to refuse classes to enrolled students if fees are not paid in advance. For more details, refer to our Terms and Conditions on our website.
